Annotated ‘Moorestown fort’ on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map where it is shown as a sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 27m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp from SE-W-N-E-SE with external fosse from NW-N-E-SE, transected at S and W by post-1700 field boundaries.
