The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 70m E of the Bog River which marks the townland boundary with Ryves Castle. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a hut site in 1988 and placed on the Register of Historic Monuments on the 21/06/1988 where it is described as an 'Ancient House site' (No. 1463). No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019.
