The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 30m E of townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown North. An earthwork (LI041-013004-) lies to the immediate W, conjoined ringforts (LI041-013005-/007-) lie to immediate N and a road (LI041-013010-) runs parallel 50m to the SE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Described by Westropp (1919, 14) as one of two roads that run E from the earthwork (LI041-013004-). Trace of a linear cropmark (L. 140m) running NE-SW is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018.
See attached plan taken from Westropp (1917-19) and Google Earth orthoimages.
