The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular-shaped platform defined by wide foss. Partially destroyed monument shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped platform (dims. c. 40m NW-SE; 27m NE-SW) bisected by the Cork-Dublin railway line running NE-SW. Partial outline of monument visible as a D-shaped cropmark (approx. dims. 30m NE-SW; 9m NW-SE) to the S of the Cork-Dublin railway line on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. No surface remains visible of earthwork to N of railway line. Curving cropmark of levelled earthwork to S of railway line visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
