The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 10m W of townland boundary with Ballygrennan, 66m E and 47m S of townland boundaries with Ballinlee North and Brackvoan, respectively. Depicted on the OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped platform (dims. c. 33m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by a fosse intersected from SW-W by a post-1700 field boundary running N-S. Monument visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on aerial photograph (McCloud Photo AA41) associated with work on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline where it was classified as a 'platform ringfort'. Levelled monument visible as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
