In reclaimed pasture, immediately E of townland boundaries with Ballinlee and Ballinlee North, an enclosure (LI039-045----) lies 100m to N. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 039141) identified as a series of linear cropmarks in a large field during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2543) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible of possible field system on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020.
