In rough pasture, 208m W of townland with Ballygreenan. One of a cluster of 3 barrows (LI039-044002/007-) with the closest barrow (LI039-044002-) 10m to the E. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 039147) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2544) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline. Cropmark of small circular-shaped earthwork visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google earth orthoimages.
