The National Monuments Service's description

Ó Danachair (1955, 209) recorded the following details about St Broney's Well; ‘Close to the ruin (LI039-012001-) called Kilbroney. The well is now dry and the stone work collapsing. Only a few old people have heard that it is a holy well. No tradition of devotions'.
