The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Circular area (25m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.25m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.2m). Gap (Wth 1.2m) in bank at ESE probably caused by cattle accessing interior; much of bank heavily eroded by cattle. Interior level and under rough grazing.
