The National Monuments Service's description
In level reclaimed pasture. Circular area (diam. 32m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) with an external fosse (D 0.2m; Wth 1.2m). Fosse infilled WNW->NW by recent dumping. Parts of bank much eroded. Mounds in NW quadrant of interior are due to recent dumping of earth here. Otherwise interior level and under rough pasture covered by mature thorn and ash trees.
