The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. No extant trace visible today; area of site now used as farmyard dump. Described as 'the ruin of an old castle' in 1840 (OSNB No , 192). Held by mac Shihie clan in late 16th century but granted to Sir H Bronker in 1604 (Westropp 1906-7, 227).
