The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on slight ENE-facing slope at end of broad E-W ridge. Circular area (34.5m N-S; 37.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.65m) ESE->NNE, and defined by scarped edge NNE->ESE, with external fosse (D 0.75m; Wth 3.3m) NNW->NNE and NE->S, and with external earthen bank (ext. H 1.3m) NE->ESE. Causeway entrance (Wth 7.2m) at NE. Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse ESE->S; all other field boundaries in vicinity of site have been removed. Interior slopes down to N and is under pasture except NE quadrant which is covered by overgrowth.
