The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture. Oval area (47m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.45m) WNW->S and defined by scarped edge (H 0.45m; Wth 2.7m) S->WNW, with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 1.8m) NNE->E. A field boundary runs along base of bank WNW->NNE. Interior level, dry and clear of overgrowth. Circular rise (diam. 4.6m) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.35m), located 10m SSW of site, may be associated feature.
