The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, at end of low E-W running ridge. Circular area (27m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.9m; ext. H 1.65m) NW->NE and E->SSW, with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3m) NW->NE and E->SSE. Enclosing element has been levelled NE->E and SSW->NW. Most of interior is covered by shallow quarries and dumps of quarried material, all now masked by dense overgrowth.
