The National Monuments Service's description

On low lying wet, pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 200m E of a public road and 450m E of a townland boundary with Ballinard. Enclosure (LI032-100----) lies 45m to NW. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a subrectangular-shaped field to rear of a farmyard. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 190: AP 4/3609) as a subrectangular-shaped cropmark of the same size and form as the field depicted on OSi historic maps. Levelled monument is clearly visible as a subrectangular-shaped cropmark (45m ENE-WSW; 31m NNW-SSE) with a curvilinear corner at NE and which is best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and also visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/03/18.
