The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture liable to flooding 20m N of R516 that marks the townland boundary with Carrigeen. Possible ditch-barrow (LI031-153----) lies 150m to W. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 48) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraghleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 or on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. Curvilinear feature visible on Google Earth orthoimages represents the remains of a watercourse which may have formed enclosing element on E side of possible monument. Doubtful antiquity.
