The National Monuments Service's description
In flat pasture, within a field system (LI031-062001-), immediately N of enclosure (LI031-062004-) and 210m S of enclosure (LI031-062002-). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a 'complex of enclosures' from an examination of aerial photographs taken 03/11/1984 during work on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline (Map 6, Site 6/19). Monument is visible as a circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 22m) possibly serving as an annexe to a conjoined enclosure (LI031-062004-) to S. The latter is intersected at S by post-1700 field boundary running NW-SE. Outline of annexe is visible on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
