The National Monuments Service's description
In flat pasture, 176m SE of the townland boundary with Dunkip, N of field system (LI031-062001-) and enclosures (LI031-062003/004-). Indicated as an oval-shaped platform defined by a scarp on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted as a sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 18m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by a fosse on the OSi 25-inch map. D-shaped earthwork with straight side (L. c. 22m) at S is clearly visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 in a similar manner to the OSi 25-inch map. The fosse appears slightly filled in on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 20/09/2020 and 28/06/2018.
