The National Monuments Service's description

This site was examined as part of Bord Gáis Éireann's Pipeline to the West. Two small pits were excavated by Kate Taylor (02E0629) and these turned out to be post-medieval in date. (Grogan, O’Donnell & Johnston 2007, 246-7)
