The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop low rise in gently undulating terrain. Roughly circular area (37.5m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.3m) SSW->SE, and defined by scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 2.5m) SE->SSW, with outer bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m) W->SE (distance top-of-bank to top-of-bank: 2.8m). Gap in bank (Wth 1.8m) at W. Field boundary abuts enclosure at SW. Interior, in rough grazing, has circular depression (diam. 6m; D 0.5m) in SW quadrant. Recently built farm building immediately outside enclosure to SE.
