The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, atop low rise, in area of outcropping limestone. Roughly circular depression (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by stone bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 0.5m) which is heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth. Bank is incorporated into field boundary system NW->NNE. Interior is only accessible along S verge, otherwise covered by dense overgrowth.
