The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, on E-facing slope below brow of hill. Circular depression (diam. 30m) enclosed by stone bank (int. H 1.45m; ext. H 0.45m). Bank, best preserved S->N, has dry-stone field wall skirting around external base SE->SSW. Limestone outcrop incorporated into bank at NE. Entrance (Wth 4m) at SE. Uneven interior slopes down to E, masked by dense vegetation.
