The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Sub-circular area (27.5m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by stone bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m). Bank, best preserved at W, is generally denuded elsewhere becoming low and scarp-like at NE. Boulders dumped along external bank face at SSE immediately before it is incorporated into field boundary system at SW. Interior, covered by mature deciduous trees, has slightly higher W half; oval area (5m N-S; 6.3m E-W) enclosed by stone bank (H 0.4m) in NW quadrant.
