The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture. Circular area (30.4m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.8m), with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 1.8m) E->N, and external bank (H 0.45m; Wth 1.4m) SE->W. Enclosing element is obscured by dense overgrowth NE->SE and SW->W. Narrow break (Wth 1m) in bank at NNE. Interior, under grass, slopes down gently to W. Field boundaries skirt enclosure at N and E and meet just NE of site, which consequently occupies NE corner of field.
