The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying area of mixed pasture and marshland. Roughly rectangular raised area (30.5m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.45m) WSW->NE, which is elsewhere reduced to low rise. External fosse (D 0.15m; Base Wth. 2m) NW->NE. Interior and enclosing element covered in tall grass and rushes.
