The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle rise in rolling pasture with good views in all directions. The monument which is depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval area (c. 40m E-W; c. 25m N-S) enclosed by a bank from E to W and immediately SE of a quarry, is now heavily obscured by dense scrub vegetation and by the dumping of overburden from the quarry.
