The National Monuments Service's description

In SE corner of pasture field, bounded by public road immediately to E and S. Roughly-ovoid area ( ) defined by scarp edge (H 1.45m). Scarp-edge kinks in sharply to meet road at ESE. Interior, very heavily masked by vegetation cover, has raised E section. Small sub-circular depression (4.6m N-S; 4m E-W; D 0.55m) enclosed by low earthen bank (ext. H 0.4m) W of centre. Low earthen bank visible at base of scarp along NW arc possibly the remains of removed field boundary depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map.
