The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been damaged by construction of a silage pit. Enclosing element now survives NW->E and is defined by a scarped edge (H 1.5m; Wth 3.5m) with an external fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 2.1m) and counterscarp bank (H 0.7m). This encloses a roughly ovoid area (12m N-S; 30m E-W) defined at S end by silage pit. An irregular mound (H 0.7m), probably formed of dumped spoil from silage pit excavations, forms fosse terminal at E. At W end enclosing element truncated by N-S field boundary; this area is obscured by dense overgrowth. Counterscarp bank is clipped by E-W field boundary at N. Surviving section of interior covered by mature ash trees as is enclosing element.
