The National Monuments Service's description
This record was formerly classified as an 'Earthwork' but its classification is now changed to 'Designed landscape feature'. Cartographic evidence suggests this as a wedge-shaped area of woodland enclosed by a stone wall and is probably a post-1700 AD landscape/demesne feature.
