The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying ground, in pasture, overlooking the River Shannon approx. 500m to NE. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped tree-planted enclosure (approx. 27m NE-SW; 22m NW-SE) on the grounds of Tervoe estate and approx. 135m to NE of Tervoe House. Levelled monument is not visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/11/2019. May have been a designed landscape feature associated with Tervoe House.
