The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a rise in a low-lying fairly level landscape in the estuary of the NW-SE Glyde River, which is c. 900m to the NE and a mender of the W-E River Dee, which is c. 600m to the SE. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature with an entrance gap at SE is visible on the OSI series of aerial photographs (1995) and there is a bush or scrub at the centre. It was first identified by Ivor Kenny and it may represent drainage around rock-outcrop.
