The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the low-lying ground of the estuary of the meandering NW-SE River Glyde, which is c. 265m to the NE and the SW-NE River Dee, which joins it from the S c. 400m to the E. A D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 70m N-S; c. 60m E-W) is defined by a single fosse feature that has a wide entrance gap (Wth c. 10m) at SSE. It has a rectangular annexe (dims c. 70m N-S; c. 10m at S to c. 25m at N) defined by a single fosse feature attached to the perimeter SSW-NNW. The field system (LH015-047002-) is around it but it is not directly connected with it. The enclosure was first identified by Ivor Kenny and is also faintly visible on Bing images (c. 2012).
