The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a level landscape with the meandering estuary of the NW-SE River Glyde c. 520m to the NE and a meander of the SW-NE River Dee c. 600m to the S. It is c. 900m W of where both rivers meet before entering the sea. An oval enclosure (dims c. 63m N-S; c. 58m E-W) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on OSI aerial photographs (1995), which were first identified by Ivor Kenny. It is also faintly visible on Bing images (c. 2012) and is probably a rath.
