The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the lower S slope of Carrabane and completely encased in a hedge. Built of rough rubble stones bonded with mortar and small stones. Some of original paving on floor survives. Entrance (Wth 0.55m; H 0.75m) is low, narrow and lintelled and leads to a broad oval chamber (1.50m NNW-SSE; 1.30m ENE-WSW; H c. 1.60m). Substantial evidence for burning. (SMR file)
