The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle S-facing slope in pasture. A raised oval area (c. 45m NW-SE; c. 36m NE-SW) enclosed by a much-denuded, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2m; H 0.2-0.3m). A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded an external fosse and an outer bank, both of which have since been levelled. The original entrance is not recognisable. Outcropping rock protrudes from the interior.
