The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5m; H 0.4m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 1.6m; D 0.1-0.15m). The bank barely rises above the interior for most of its circuit. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded an outer bank and noted that the original entrance was at SE. These features are no longer identifiable. The rath is densely overgrown with vegetation.
