The National Monuments Service's description

This togher (L 230m; Wth 1.6m; D 0.1m), orientated ENE-WSW, displayed a varying construction of transverse and longitudinal timbers which, at one point, consisted of a complex layer of both roundwood and planks. At a further location it comprised a single large plank resting upon a compact layer (approx. Wth 0.6m) of small roundwoods.
