The National Monuments Service's description
A togher (Wth 2.5m; D 0.28m), orientated E-W, composed of a superstructure of transverse, radially split, oak planks (av. Wth 0.07m), some with toolmarks. The substructure was of longitudinal hazel, oak and ash roundwood and brushwood.
