At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. A chest tomb mensa slab or ledger found ex-situ overlying the N nave aisle wall of the church in test-excavations (12E314) by Claire Walsh (Walsh 2013, 33). A large rectangular slab of fossiliferous limestone, blank apart from an incised inscription in Latin blackletter at one end which reads:
MISERUMINI·MEI·MISERIMINI·MEI·SALTIM·VOS·AMICI· MEI·JOB.19
It translates as, Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, o ye my friends. Job.19
The slab was moved to the nave in 2015, where it is presently on display.
