The National Monuments Service's description
Lying against the E wall of the Grace chapel at Tullaroan church (KK018-032001-). Only the upper portion of this graveslab survives (max. surviving L 0.45m; Wth 0.61m; T 0.24m). It is decorated with an incised floriated cross, though only the upper and dexter fleur-de-lis survive, the sinister portion of the slab appears to have been broken off quite cleanly. The cross head forms a lozenge with a much worn decorative motif at the centre. The cross head is encircled immediately below the fleur-de-lis by a double-lined incised circle. Stylistically this graveslab dates to the 13th/14th century. Though only portion of the head of this graveslab survives, it may be one of the slabs mentioned by Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 494-5) as missing, as the missing slab, not otherwise described, had an inscription in Lombardic script (based on the font used by Carrigan) which would be appropriate for the date of this slab. Carrigan (ibid.) gives the inscription as: WILLEM : LE : GRAS : GIST : ISCI : DEU : SON : ALMG : EIT : MERCI. This translates as: William Grace lies here. God have mercy on his soul.
