The National Monuments Service's description
A large oval mound (20m x 8.5m; max. H 2.2m) with a chamber at W made of roughly hewn limestone blocks defined by a stone arch. The form and plan of this feature suggests that it is the remains of a limekiln. It is likely to be post-AD 1700 in date. (Moriarty 2008, 193)
