The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (UCD) in Derryville bog during a pilot survey of Littleton Works in 1995 and surveyed in 2006 during a fieldwalking survey of the Bord na Móna industrial peatlands in the Littleton group of bogs (Licence nos. 06E0696-06E0706). A possible platform (Wth 2.5m; D 0.09m; L 2.8m) composed of a series of longitudinal and transverse roundwooks and two small planks that supported and were interspersed with brushwood. The structure was compactly arranged but was in a poor state of preservation. The elements varied in diameter from 0.03-0.07m and in length from 0.05-1.1m. (Whitaker 2007, Catalogue no. KKDVE007)
