The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the SW-facing slopes of Drombohilly Hill. The remains of mainly curvilinear stone walls (T 0.65m; H 0.6m) which protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog in an area measuring c. 240m N-S x 130m E-W. Several gaps were noted in the walls, especially in hollows where the stones run on into bog. A radial stone enclosure (KE109-004----) is near the SW sector of this network of field walls.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
