The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking Lough Inchiquin. Raised rectangular area (7m NE-SW; 1.8m SE-NW; H c. 0.3m) defined by horizontal stones set around perimeter. The interior contains small stones and peaty debris and is grassed over. According to local information, such sites provided a dry base on which to erect a rick of turf.
