The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the S bank of a river, on a SE-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. A horseshoe-shaped mound (9.1m NE-SW; 7.3m NW-SE; H 0.9m) of burnt material with an opening (Wth 1.3m) facing NW towards the river. The tip of the NE arm of the mound has been eroded by the river. A narrow N-S depression extends across the mound at S. Two fulachtaí fia (KE101-081002-, KE101-081003-) lie to the N, on the opposite side of the river.
