The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a NE-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. The remains of an oval hut site (2.8m N-S; 2.2m E-W) enclosed by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m). The stones in the wall are grass covered and protrude above the surface of the bog. The E portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the SW portion is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. An enclosure (KE101-063001-) is 10m to the N.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
