The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on cutaway bog on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of Lough Inchiquin. A wedge-shaped chamber (L c. 2m; Wth 0.9m at the SW end; Wth 0.65m at the NE end) aligned NE-SW and known locally as 'Leaba na gCon'. Each side comprises a single sidestone, the NW sidestone leaning inwards. The NE end is closed by an inset backstone, the exterior of which is obscured by bog. The roofstone (2m x 1.6m; T 0.3m) slopes down to the NE. A cist (KE101-069002-) and a cairn (KE101-137----) lie 2.5m and 70m to the SSE, respectively.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
