The National Monuments Service's description
This record was formerly classed as an 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1990) and the RMP (1997). However, information from the original Iveragh Survey visit indicates this is a modern 'fionnán or turf platform' protected by a circular enclosure (SMR file). The circular platform and enclosing element still survive.
