The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill grazing close to the edge of a high W-facing cliff with views of Valencia Island and Sceilg Mhichíl. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.8m NE-SW; 2.1m NW-SE) defined by the vertical face of a cliff at SE and elsewhere by the horizontally-laid lower courses of a partially collapsed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.7m). Rubble is scattered in the interior. A damaged entrance at the NE end leads into the hut site, and also leads NE into to a largely collapsed annexe (1.9m NE-SW; 0.8m NW-SE), the NE end of which is covered by a slab.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
