The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill grazing close to the edge of a high W-facing cliff with views of Valencia Island and Sceilg Mhichíl. The remains of the lower, horizontally laid, courses of a stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.2-0.7m) define the remains of a circular hut site (2.3m E-W; 2m N-S). The hut site has been cut (D 0.7m) into the upslope at E and reduces to ground level at W. There is a hut site (KE087-093----) c. 30m to the NE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
